MagVAR IFR Calculator (MVLM) 4.2.1.2

  • There is a new version of the Well Architect software, and the file format seems to have changed. MagVar is working on modifying our calculator to accommodate this. In the meantime, please use this workaround:

  1. Open the file with the new format (e.g. HA-SANFORD-152-96-1819H-2 (5-22-15) IFR) in NotePad or WordPad
  2. Open an “Example” file which is in the old format in NotePad or WordPad (this is part of the download when you download the entire package)
  3. Copy the entire contents (select all) from  the new format file (e.g. HA-SANFORD-152-96-1819H-2 (5-22-15) IFR) and paste it into the old format file (e.g. Example)
  4. Save the old format file (e.g. Example)
  5. Use this old format file (e.g. Example) in the calculator.
  6. Note: This copy/paste does not work if you try it in Excel, only in NotePad / WordPad
